Hall of Fame Open to the Public!
The Gold Coast's ultimate experience for sports enthusiasts is all here; sporting celebrities, memorabilia and equipment from World Championships, Commonwealth and Olympic Games is all at the Gold Coast Sporting Hall of Fame.
The Gold Coast Sporting Hall of Fame has original uniforms, autographs, pictures and profiles of sporting greats including Hockeyroo Captain Nikki Hudson, swimmer Grant Hackett and triathlete Loretta Harrop.
Fans, family and friends are invited to take a free tour of the Hall and read the inspiring stories behind some of our greatest sporting triumphs and tragedies.
Displays date back to the 1940's, making it a great place to learn first-hand about how local sport has evolved since its humble beginnings.
The Gold Coast Sporting Hall of Fame is located at Owen Park off Queen Street in Southport, and is adjacent to another historical landmark - the Gold Coast Bulletin Historical Building - which houses old-style printing presses, newspapers and photographs and is also free for the public to attend.
The Gold Coast Sporting Hall of Fame and Gold Coast Bulletin Building are open free to the public from 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday - a gold coin donation is appreciated.
